CAN YOU SPARE A DOLLAR?

Are there any generous people out there who can help me to get myself out of debt and start rebuilding for my old age?

I have worked really hard for thirty years, while raising three children and three grandchildren - only to lose all the assets I had worked for when my husband of thirty years had a mid-life crisis and went off with the office girl, taking all the money with him.

Four years on, I have managed to overcome the resulting deep depression without resorting to anti-depressants or therapy, but although I managed to continue studying and working part-time, I now find myself in debt of $25,000.00 with deadlines to pay it back and high interest rates compounding the problem.

Living in a country town with very limited work available, I have applied for positions ranging from call centre operator to security officer, sent out hundreds of job applications, and attended countless interviews. Because I can't raise the money to move back to my home town where there are more job opportunities, I am really struggling financially and don't have any more ideas on how to fix the problem.

Obviously there are millions of people in much worse conditions and with far more important issues than mine - and I am so lucky by comparison to many, but I am hoping that by "asking the universe" for help, the answers may be given to me.

When I had a good job and secure income, I helped many, many people - both financially and morally, and never saw myself as being someone who needed help.

If its' really true that "what goes around, comes around" as the saying is, then I hope that this cry for help is heard at this time.
